The Seven Nui Cow Racing Association in 2025 took place on September 20 at Ta Pa Sports - Tourism Complex - Soai Kek, Tri Ton Commune.

The prize gathered 64 pairs of cows from 10 communes and wards. Including 9 communes and wards in Bay Nui and 1 commune outside with traditional relationships, including: Tri Ton, O Lam, Vinh Gia, Ba Chuc, Co To, An Cu, Mount Cam, Chi Lang, Tinh Bien (former An Giang province) and Giang Thanh (former Kien Giang province).

The teams compete in live categories. The winning cows will continue to go into the round. The Organizing Committee will give trophies, flags, artifacts and cash to the winners, including: 1 first prize, 1 second prize, 1 third prize, 1 fourth prize, 4 consolation prizes and excellent cow drivers.

Seven Nui Cow Racing is a traditional festival of the Khmer people on the occasion of Dolta - the ceremony to commemorate the merits of grandparents and parents. This is one of the big holidays of the year of the Khmer people in the South in general and the seven mountains in particular.

Traditionally, the Khmer people are very devoted to Buddhism (Nam Tong), so on this occasion, people took the cow to the field of the temple to plow the land, preparing the new crop as a way to accumulate blessings for the ancestors of grandparents. Over time, this activity became a unique cultural and sports festival only of the Khmer people in the Seven Nui region.
