Google's advertising requirements can be summed up by Google's Advertising Principles. They are put in place to provide a positive experience for users. 

We have not enabled Google AdSense on our site but we may do so in the future.

Below are the steps for you to delete your account from Travelviet's system

 + Send an email to [email protected] with the subject line Request to delete account
 + After Travelviet receives the request via email, we will contact you to confirm the information
 + Delete your account from the system and notify us via email within 72 hours from the time of receiving your request.

COPPA (Children Online Privacy Protection Act)

When it comes to the collection of personal information from children under the age of 13 years old, the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) puts parents in control. The Federal Trade Commission, United States' consumer protection agency, enforces the COPPA Rule, which spells out what operators of websites and online services must do to protect children's privacy and safety online.

We do not specifically market to children under the age of 13 years old.

Fair Information Practices

The Fair Information Practices Principles form the backbone of privacy law in the United States and the concepts they include have played a significant role in the development of data protection laws around the globe.

CAN SPAM Act

The CAN-SPAM Act is a law that sets the rules for commercial email, establishes requirements for commercial messages, gives recipients the right to have emails stopped from being sent to them, and spells out tough penalties for violations.

II. TRAVELVIET HOST APPLICATION - PRIVACY POLICY

Information Collection

Travelviet collects information when the Host uses the Application, including:

a. Account Information: Host/Company Name, address, contact information, financial information (for payment and contractual purposes).

b. Activity Data: Information about rooms, prices, room status, booking information, and transaction data with Affiliates (CTVs).

c. Technical Data: IP address, device type, operating system, application access logs, used for performance improvement and security.

Purpose of Information Use

The collected information is used for the following purposes:

a. Service Operation: To provide, maintain, and improve the Application's functionalities, including room and price updates, and booking management.

b. Contract Fulfillment: To process transactions, payments, and contractual obligations between Travelviet and the Host.

c. Analysis and Improvement: To analyze usage data to understand and enhance the user experience and develop new features.

d. Customer Support: To respond to support requests and troubleshoot technical issues. e. Security: To detect and prevent fraudulent or unauthorized activities.

Information Sharing

Travelviet commits not to sell the Host's personal information to third parties. However, information may be shared in the following cases:

a. With Customers: Information about the accommodation, pricing, and room availability will be shared with Travelviet's customers through the booking platform to facilitate reservations.

b. With Affiliates (CTVs): Related booking and commission information will be shared with the corresponding CTVs for performance management purposes.

c. Service Providers: With trusted third parties who assist Travelviet in operating the application and services (e.g., cloud hosting, data analytics), these parties are only permitted to use the information within the scope authorized by Travelviet.

d. Legal Requirements: When legally required by government authorities, by law, or to protect Travelviet's legitimate interests.

Data Security

Travelviet implements appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial security measures to protect personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, no data transmission system is completely secure, and the Host understands that all risks in transmitting data over the Internet exist.

Data Retention

The Host's data will be stored throughout the duration the Host is a partner of Travelviet and thereafter for a necessary period to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce agreements.

Changes to the Privacy Policy

Travelviet reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Travelviet will notify the Host of any significant changes via the Application or email. The Host's continued use of the Application after the Policy is updated signifies their acceptance of the changes.
